"A 100Hz RF Gun for the SPARX Project"

 Abstract 

The necessity to increase the electron beam brightness of the SPARX project requires the use of a new class of RF photoinjector. In this paper, a 1.6 cell RF Gun working in the S-band with 100Hz repetition rate with dual feed is presented. The study of the electromagnetic design of this Gun in order to achieve a good compromise between its main RF parameters and the beam dynamics requirements is discussed.
