The aim of the SPARX-FEL project is to build a Free-electron laser X radiation source within the Campus of the University of Tor Vergata, Rome. The Ministery of Education (MIUR), the Regione lazio, the CNR (Centro nazionale Ricerche), ENEA and INFN cooperate in the fullfilment of the project. The project is funded by the MIUR and the Regione Lazio and is coordinated by the INFN during the construction phase. The facility will be governed by a consortium in which the different above mentionned parties are involved.
